Starting your own business or taking your job to the next level
Recently realized I have been helping many of my friends start their own business. I realized what comes as second nature to me is often overlooked by others. I feel like I see so many opportunities I can't even take advantage of them all I'm so busy and focused on my current businesses. I want to share with others HOW to look for opportunities and how you can ACT on these.... everyone has AT LEAST one or two good ideas yet fail to act on them. I've been a published author, obtained a patent, been a consultant, worked as a financial planner and taught others how to dramatically increase their book of business, worked for a start up dental science product, marketed and advertised for dental offices/ hair salons/ animal businesses the list goes on and on.
THE HARDEST PART IS JUST STARTING
If you already know what you want your income to be derived from or you have a business that needs expansion you are in the right place! I will explain how to measure your possibilities and If you DON'T know what you want to do yet YOU are also in luck because many sales tactics and entrepreneurial skills that apply across the board to any motivated person.
FIRST THING: Be humble, opened minded, willing to listen and learn. I taught college before I was legally able to drink, bought my first condo at age 19, I go above and beyond my due diligence to ensure I am capable to fully understand any industry before I start working in any industry.YOU HAVE TO PUT IN TIME TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
Here is an example of a person being too stubborn and egotistical to learn from others.
I posted an ad online to find additional sales people, this guy had no clue on how much pay would be, no idea my process for credit removal he simply felt the need to tell me he found the software I use. That's fine you can't move a stubborn horse, but now he's drawn attention to himself I can sit back, wait until he doesn't deliver adequate results for the few clients he might find due to the lack his lack of knowledge. When those clients are disappointed I simply reach out ensure them I am very knowledge in the credit repair process, explain to them how things SHOULD be done and BAM, now I have a qualified client that cost me $0 to obtain.
Every sales person I hire obtains access to this software to utilized, yet they don't have to pay $600 a month to use this, they use it for free because I oversee all of the work to ensure employees aren't missing out on valuable knowledge to aid their clients.
I admit I'm a millennial, but have the work ethics of a GEN X-er. Never bite the hand that feeds you, if someone is offering you knowledge listen! You might not like or agree with what you are being taught BUT if anything you walk away knowing a few more things that you DON'T want to do.
